Do not let stress of life mislead you… Do not lose your compass!

It’s time, we are in the middle of May and lots of sports events are about to start…

Usually, during summer the sports events we have being training for the last months are here, races, triathlons, marathons, swimming trials, even the semester’s closure and the end of the school year, and usually these are the events we have kept in mind most of the time and as the moment gets closer it is very common that stress shows up…

We feel stress because we have less time to train or prepare the event, stress to have everything ready, stress because the days start passing by faster, stress caused by certain anguish of not knowing how we shall be doing, and for many more reasons that each of us are aware of…

Do not let stress mislead you… do not lose track of the path you have walked to get to this day… confusion is an ingredient we do not want these days… when someone allows stress and confusion to spin inside their head, the next step is to lose their senses and compass. Just as when a storm arrives at  high seas and the boats lose their guidance instruments and the compass stops working, that is the exact moment they get lost, and even when the storm’s strength does not put the boat in any danger, it loses its way.

Whenever you feel stress and confusion near your everyday life,  have your tools ready to face it… keep calm, don´t give up and use the compass of your life to lead your way and keep you in it, without confusion and without getting lost!  Cheer up and carry on!
